Once there was a lover, who made me cry but I don’t know why I don’t react that way today. Maybe as the time went along and the lies and the lines were all gone or the memory blurred and I forgot the words.

Used to be a sad memory, waiting there inside of me, but the pain is gone and my heart is singing a song. Sometimes when we were alone at night, I used to think everything  was alright, but the nights went by and I knew it was a lie.

For awhile my heart was shy, new girls were always dropping by and the days would fly…and the nights…ooh the nights. Once I knew a lonely girl, who thought that I could save the world, I used her love, and sometimes I’d make her cry.

Late at night she would hold me tight and ask me if our love was alright and I could see in her eyes, that she was looking into the back of my mind. Sometimes when we were alone at night she used to think  everything was alright, but the nights went by and I knew it was a lie.

Once there was a lover who made her cry but she don’t know why, she don’t react that way today. Maybe as the time went along and the lies and the lines were all gone or the memory blurred and she forgot the words.

Once there was a lover, who made her cry…but she don’t know why.
